BANGKOK, November 26, 2025 – The TECH VENTURE MEETUP in Thailand 2025, organized by Leave a Nest and VISUP, successfully hosted a special panel discussion titled “Combining Thai–Japanese Cultures to Create Stronger Deep Tech Community.” The event took place at the office of the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) in Bangkok. The session aimed to elevate Deep Tech ecosystem collaboration between Thailand and Japan, moving the relationship from mere market entry toward building a sustainable community.
The panel welcomed leading experts and innovators in the Deep Tech sphere. Notably, Dr. Pimpisut Worakajit, Co-founder and General Manager of Cleantech and Beyond Co., Ltd., a leader in smart sensor technology and advanced materials, shared her insights and experiences.
Dr. Pimpisut highlighted key strategies vital for launching Deep Tech startups. These include successfully turning laboratory research into commercially viable products, such as their development of the battery-free Digital Temperature Indicator (DTI). She also emphasized the importance of building international partnership networks across Japan, Korea, and ASEAN. Her experience demonstrated the importance of driving Deep Tech advancements, leveraging business opportunities with customers, and fostering cultural understanding to ensure that solutions are reliable, effective, and readily adopted in real-world applications.
